Are you technophobic? 

technophobic: adj. to fear the effects of technology development in your classroom
synomym: feeling overwhelmed, intimidated, frustrated, annoyed with technology use in the classroom

Symptoms:
Do you find yourself saying:  
  • "It's too time consuming"
  • "What do I do when something goes wrong?"
  • "It's too hard to get started!"
  • "What if I break it?"
  • "I don't have access- sites are always blocked."
  • "It's too expensive."
  • "Why change now?"


Technology IS here, it's NOT going away.

Cure:
With information and help from others, you can increase your awareness and become comfortable using technology in your classroom.
