Kids Teaching Kids

Kids teaching kids. We know it's an ingredient for success in our classrooms but what if your kids could teach other kids in classrooms all over the world!  Check out what's going on in this classroom   http://mathtrain.tv/index.php .  Good news! You too can easily make this happen in your classroom. This is 21st Century learning:  giving kids the opportunity to create, converse, collaborate, apply, synthesize, and use higher order thinking - at a GLOBAL LEVEL.  Here's how it works: kids illustrate their lesson using programs like tuxpaint, kidpix, or activinspire.  Another program called Jing is used to capture the screen and voice.  It is then uploaded to screencast.com where we are able to get an embedding code or share it as an email address.  Below is a link to a practice blog page on classblogmeister with an example I made using activinspire, Jing, and Screencast.
