Oh the daunting repetition of teaching our writers correct use of paragraph structure. Why not Step Up and let them practice writing and publishing paragraphs on their blog? Step Up is a writing program that uses three colors (green, yellow, and red) to simplify the writing process and make it easier to remember.

This can be done on the classblogmeister blogs by letting the students work in graphical text. They can color code their text or highlight sentences. Commenters could possibly add to the paragraph, give feedback, or ask questions about the writing. Not only will students gain practice by writing/typing and publishing their paragraphs, but other students can learn from their example.
A wonderful example follows on Mrs. Yollis' Classroom blog.
