RECIPE for Successful Planning with a CTP

Ingredients:

2 questions:  What do kids need to know?
                              How will they learn it?
1 copy of your grade level standards
1 goal you want your students to achieve
1 pound of higher level thinking
          Mixture of ideas
          Dash of technology tools

Set timer for at least 30 minutes to collaborate with your CTP.   Choose a core subject area.  Using your grade level standards ask, “What do kids need to know?” and  “How will they learn it?”   Analyze the goal.  Add a mixture of ideas. Toss in at least one pound of higher order thinking.  Apply a few more ideas.  Include a dash of technology tools to add spice and flavor.  (Digital learners love spice and flavor!) Create an innovative learning environment.  Deliver the plan to your 21st Century Learners.  It's sure to be a hit in any classroom.  Lastly, evaluate the plan.  Next time, try doubling the batch!
